SYNLawn Indiana recently had the pleasure of providing a beautiful artificial grass mural in Downtown Indianapolis, IN. From June 15th to June 23rd, 2024, the U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials were held at the Indianapolis Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the seventh time! Along with this monumental event, Downtown Indiana also received a one-of-a-kind installation on George Street this year: a replica Eiffel Tower representing Paris, France, where the Olympics will be held this year, and a stunning, custom turf swimming lane mural installed by SYNLawn Indiana. This innovative project in Downtown Indiana showcased the advanced capabilities of artificial grass, highlighted SYNLawn’s commitment to excellence in synthetic turf solutions and honored the skill and diversity of the athletes competing to make the US Olympic swim team!
Project Highlights

The Custom Turf Swimming Lane Mural
A standout feature of this year’s trials was the impressive custom turf swimming lane mural, spanning a total of 1,250 square feet. This expansive mural not only served as a striking visual centerpiece but also demonstrated the versatility and precision of SYNLawn’s artificial turf solutions. The Leisure Lawn and Lounge Area

Known for its lush realistic appearance and durability, SYNAugustine X47 is ideal for high-traffic areas. It provided a visually appealing and practical solution, maintaining its pristine condition throughout the trials.
Furthermore, the lounge area at Lucas Oil Stadium was designed with 690 square feet of “Florida Blue” SYNPlay 48. This vibrant, blue turf added aesthetic appeal and offered a safer, more cushioned surface for spectators to relax and enjoy the event. The combination of these different turf types showcased SYNLawn’s versatility in providing tailored solutions for various applications within a single venue.
Swim Up Bar Lane
For added fun, we created a custom swim up bar lane for guests to wait comfortably to order their drinks. This swim lane features recycled black SYNSport with a custom blue turf tailored for the unique design.
